In 2013, Sagamore Hills Elementary School was a grand prize winner in Kroger’s Earning Plus Learning Community Rewards Program as a result of video submitted by volunteer parents at the school.

The school was awarded $6,000 to benefit several programs throughout the school including the school’s teaching garden program “Sprouting Young Scientists”.
